Yeah merry Christmas to everyone here.
By the way Locutus noone needs to be a Christian in order to be able to celebrate Christmas. As far as I know Christmas is much older then 2000 years.
And actual Christmas became a celebration of commerce.
But I guess you agree that Christmas is a good opportunity to get a break from uni, in my case it is really a needed break.

Merry Christmas, everybody.
It's a bit different from last year around here. As I recall, after the release of Civ3 there were only about 6 or 8 of us left. This year we've even got some new programmers around.
Stuck the turkey in the oven and did the usual walk across Port Meadow and down the river to the Pub. This year you get a picture. After getting back, ate and drank too much as always and collapsed in front of the TV set. While watching "It's a Wonderful Life", it occured to me to wonder what the rest of you guys around the world are doing/watching on TV today.
PS: And a Merry Christmas and much thanks to Joe (who I suspect may lurk around here occasionally ). It's largely the tools you gave us that have kept our interest in this game, and hence the forum, alive.

Merry Christmas everybody!
I don't like at all this period of the year but I'am ready to forget what I'am thinking about all this for all the Apolytoners around here.
Thanks to all the CtP2 modders, they have given us the game I have dreamed of since I am playing computer games.
Thanks to you, CtP2 is still alive and well.
A wish for the year to come : "Activision giving the CtP2 code to the Apolyton modders..."

Let me join in the festivities by wishing a happy new year to all and sundry.
I will probably spend new years eve by the pool, and celebrate new at my friends b-b-q. Only thing is that I hate those goddam mossies, need a nice gentle breeze to keep them away.

Does anyone know of any new Civilisation games that are coming out next year?
P.S. Happy New Year
P.P.S. What does the speaking clock say at Midnight 31st December? Does it go completely wild and start singing christmas carols or is it just completely boring like any other second.
