Should we have a seperate version of APOL_civ_str.txt? So we're actually called "Lemuria", or is that too hard to organise and not worth the effort?

I think its worth it.

And make sure you call the leader High Lemur and not Pedrunn or Pedrunnomenia

Dont you think it may cause incompatibility in cause someone who doesnt have it try? I thinks this is a extra work for newbies. Since the name of the cities will be decided by the President and the name of the leader is decided at the SP screen. So this leaves us only with the name of the city to change. So is it worthy? Thats a good question.

Playing with the mod makes it complicated enough, e.g. if we can we should not use reloadslic because it'll screw up frenzy for instance - that means we should try to have pres with english versions of the game...
no new string.txt and yes, high lemur!

Dont worry, The frenzy AI goals are re-defined every turn so reloadslic doesnt affect it. As for the name i just started the game with the name "Lemuria" (Although i prefer apolymuria the name Lemuria was the most used) and with a Roman city style (replacing the spaniards). And saved the game. Then i changed the whole thing back to original and i loaded the game. Worked perfecly!! No crash, no change of name (continued Lemuria). I will start a thread today at night with the saved game.

I did not tested how the messages are though.
But i dont thing we should be worried about this. The citizens of apolymuria may have the saved game but shouldnt play the game at all. So they shouldnt receive messages. The saved game is suppose to be just for reference. Although we all know this is just what is suppose to happen.

The only effect you see is that you see a unit with its own head like the second settler at the beginning of the game.

For the civ name it is only improtant what the game found in the civ_str.txt at the start of the game the name will be saved, too. That was the reason why I had Englisch civ names in the tournerment games.

This could be very difficuilt to avoid, especially if we want to use updated slic code.

Finally Pedrun make shure you haven't set MaxPlayers higher then NumPlayers in your userprofile.txt. As far as I know CTP2 will crash, because of a bug in DiploMod 3.6.
