Capital has auto-city walls?

I just noticed, when you build walls in your capital, you dont see them, in fact, the village looks like a city (size wise), even though it's a 2.

does this mean the capital automatically has the city defensive bonus? and if so, will it have the metro one when it turns into a city?

Nope, no auto-walls. If you try to build em, it'll letcha. Run a few warriors against warriors in the city and check the odds, they'll work out right, if you count the expected fortified defensive bonus,etc....

Just never shows it in the capital for some reason. I'd guess maybe that's because your capital is supposed to be big, spread out, and beautiful, not afraid of anything,etc,etc, blah blah...just generally not needing protection in the center of your mighty empire.
