Which websites shouldn't be on the net?
Well, the more answers you'd place the less liberitarian you would be and vice-versa. Anyway, just liked to know werether people here tolerates all kind of stuff on the net or not...
(sorry, there will be no example sites or explanations on each category cause it would bring ban. If you seriously don't know what the category means you can always contact me via PM (I will NOT give you link to porn sites however as these are easy to find and I don't know much of them anyways))

You're bound to get some angry remarks because of these topics:
-Websites, which could promote suicides and/or abortions
(even putting those in the same context will anger some people)
-Wrong sites (with wrong info, having nothing to say)
-Extreme porn sites (with various sodomies)
(Apolyton users...er, I won't speak of the horrible abominations they visit )
-Abandonware sites
(What's wrong with them? sheesh )
-Websites promoting crimes and criminals
(depends on the crime, but responses would still flow.)
-Websites promoting racial/ethnical/sexual hatred
(this one falls under freedom of speech. even suggesting a restraint on freedom will get people steaming.)
-Websites promoting communism
-Websites promoting sects, satanism, etc.
(I'm surprised you haven't already gotten angry replies on this one.)

By promoting crimes I meant sites which glorifies certain criminals (I know one site which glorifies that guy who was responsible for Polanski house murderings for example, won't link to it from here thought).
As for freedom of speech, I myself voted that internet should remain free of any kinds of censorship. However other people might vote otherwise, thus I suggested them topics for that.

I voted every response just to be a jerk. Sorry- I just feel like being a jerk right now.
I don't think anything should be restricted unless it shows an actual crime taking place. And of course this would depend on the country where the site originates since many countries have different crimes.

Whats the difference between porn and extreme porn? Do you mean softcore? If so, I say softcore should be banned and hardocre porn should be free.
and you may indirectly insult people who like sodomy.

By extreme porn I mean various porn including zoophilia (porn with animals), necrophilia (won't explain that, I think people knows it), etc.

You didn't list 'website which promote religious fanaticism' - tencommandments.org is one of the sickest and most offensive sites out there. Interesting you have pro-abortion websites listed though

Well, I did just opened the site but it seems tencommandments.org is very OK... Probably just because I believe in what it says... Anyway, for that reason I decided not to list Islamist/fundamentalist/etc. sites. I think that it is better to use term "sites promoting terrorism" instead "sites promoting Islamism" since Islam is nothing bad especially for people who believes in it, same as Budhism or Christianity. I included the sect option because some of these could be dangerous (ones like satanists, which included sacrificing, etc. Or other types of sects, which forces followers to suicide at the end, or ones which ripes off people from their money (scientology). Older people might decide what is wrong and what isn't but some younger might join sects only because they thinks it is "cool", thus I made the option available)...

/me is pro free speech, so Rasbelin doesn't oppose anything that isn't illegal or criminal. Excluding abandonware sites as Rasbelin is pro abandonware.

The Internet in general should not, and IMHO can't (realistically) be censored. It makes a lot of sense, however, to have certain domains (even TLDs (like .com, .org, .net)) with censorship, for example for national domains or stuff like .kids.us.

Actually, I can only think of a single website that really shouldn't exist, and it isn't covered by any of the categories above.
Impossible, you say? No...
This is it. www.ana-by-choice.com, "ana" being shorthand for anorexic. If I could wipe a single site clean off the internet, this would be it.

lose the porn/extreme porn
It's a bunch of **** that has no purpose except to jerky (get it ) feckers. Maybe, if porn wouldn't be they might go out and bang a real chick some day, who knows
I am serious on the porn though - get rid of it!
and yup it's impossible to ban it, maybe in the future however...

We should get rid of websites promoting communism, because I don't like communism and for some inexplicable reason I believe that my not liking something is sufficient justification for why it ought to be censored. I rule!

The content of the Internet should not be regulated by anyone. I don't want any government telling me what I can or can't view or put on the Internet.
