Except for the Trading Window, is there any other way or buttons to push to just chat in the game.

The tilde key (~) I believe.

Plus you can setup voice chat (look at the readme for directions). Tab activates it once set up.

I tried the ~ and it didn't work and as for the voice setup, I can't find the tabs in my sound properties.. I guess that the drivers aren't good enough. Any other suggestions? I'd rather like to have just a single key to push and write

Tilde (~) seems only to work on american (?) systems.
Try this:
First press AltGR+"¨^~" then "<>|" and the chat box comes up.
