Not like that, Jimmy.
It's me, four other guys, and one girl (who will be there with her boyfriend) and the guys are all straight as far as I know.

PM me - I *may* be able to get you into our little private party in the Opera House complex...

My one good news years was in Sydney, 2001. I sat and watched the firworks after getting in to some mall field that has a view over the lake where the islands were that fired the fireworks. Amazing view, and I got wrecked.
In England New Year's is utterly acursed. No good will ever come from it. I pray I will have the willpower to stay at home, and preferably sleep. I loathe it.

I'm going to be at a friend's house, playing D&D. How geeky is that?

Is that some sort of euphamism for an orgy?

Nope. It's an euphemism for the same thing "Goofy time" is for.

Well, it might be an orgy, too, yes. But really it's an inside term referring to any of our activities that the rest of the society might perceive as regressive or unwanted. Usually it means smoking dope, or just being plain stupid.

I can't/won't say exactly what/where I am doing this new years, but I Will tell you that we started 3 days ago, and most of us have still not slept, we are all very sweaty, and some of us are even down to almost no cloths and semi painted.
Wish me luck, I get 300 bucks if I fall asleep last.
Have a great new year everyone

Good luck - bandits at twelve o'clock!
I'll be seriously outnumbered in that department too, but I'm taken so I'll just have to admire the scenery...

You know, two years ago, a friend of mine woke at the new year's day in a completely weird apartment that he had no idea that who owned it or who had been there the day before. Immediately after waking up he threw up on the floor and left quickly, without seeing anyone on the way out.
He still doesn't know how he ended up there or who was he with...

I still dont know. Disorganized this year.
so .. Apolyton is a middle class site after all? Is anybody doing something very expensive/extravagant?
Like celebrating in a plane flaying over the date line or something?

I will just be at home with the family. Although I had a kind offer off Mr Spink, but half of Wales seems to be flooded and it is a long way to drive
