My thanks, I hope I can continue to keep my economy strong, and my commitment to public services, and my commitment to 'minimum quality of life', which is a new scheme I have launched. I have promised that all citizens of Akiria will have a shelter, enough food to live on, and access to basic healthcare, education and justice. However, it is possible to work and pay for better healthcare, education, food and homes, if you so wish. This is to keep an incentive to work, and is compatable with being a meritocracy. Akiria wishes to be judged not just on how it treats the most disadvantaged in its society, but on how it treats all members of society.
However I will stop here, as this is slightly off topic

It is a bit irritating that NS does seem to include the idea of national industries, as well as private ones.

I'm third, less than 24 hours after joining.
This game is too easy. Mining isn't even one of my major industries.

Hmm, my civil rights are now 'world benchmark' but my economy has gone from 'reasonable' to 'developing'.
I'm gonna have to let corporations but votes.

No! Do not give in to the misapprehensions of NS's creator. Do not let your people be bullied into believing whatever corporations tell them. Akiria urges you to disallow buying votes. Let the people decide for themselves!
Think of your people, not your bank balance

Got the "outlaw capitalism?" issue earlier today. If I had chosen to outlaw capitalism, I'd probably be very high-up on that list. Instead, I allowed it. My economy improved to "good" from "weak," but I moved to "Inoffensive Centrist Democracy" from "Democratic Socialists." (Must... move... back... to... left... )
BTW, I ranked 30th...

It says their are 67 nations, but only 60 nations are ranked. Are the rest (like mine) non-producers/consumers of soda pop?
