The Kingdom of Deresgoth is a citystate. It has not industrialized due to the competitive noble houses and a powerless king. The many guilds keep the economy going on so that the people are not living in poverty.
Since long the kingom is ruled by the dynasty of Idurian. The House of Idurian is weak though. The various noble houses are in open conflict with each other to gain control of the kingdom. There are five blocks of noble houses that oppose each other in the Royal Council. Non-nobles have no access to this council. It is said that the council rules the citystate, but it is unsure or so the people believe. It is said however that the true power is in the hands of mighty priests, alchemists and the Murderers Guild. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. New Sheepsta's national animal is the sheep, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the fleece.
Oh and by the way, most of the country is still occupied by Alecrast and its allies, we would appreciate it if they left.

The Holy Empire of Senor Togas is a tiny, pleasant nation, remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 5 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
The small government juggles the competing demands of Religion & Spirituality, Defence, and Commerce. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 6%. A large private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing industry, followed by Uranium Mining and Woodchip Exports.
Crime is a problem, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Senor Togas's national animal is the penguin, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the spoon.
