unfair upgrades to uu
i've noticed that some civs cannot upgrade to the uu (e.g. the indians: horseman to war elephant) but others can (e.g. the osmans: knight to sipahi).
i think either all should be able to upgrade or none.
last time i played the indians i had loads of horsemen which i couldn't use effectively until cavalry.....

You're talking about PTW right? The same problem existed in vanilla CIV3 but was corrected in a patch.

yeah, ptw with the patch. i thought all the patches (from vanilla civ3) were already included in there......??? (ptw: german version, same patch as english)

Even in 1.29f, there were a few upgrade paths they missed.
