Well it is New Year here now, lets hope next year proves to be less of a sh*t than last year. I haven't bothered going out anywhere, all that fakeness and crap is enough to turn my stomach...it's a continuation of the christmas 'bah humbug!'

The new year is in full swing here. We watched the fireworks light up the darks winter skies of Gothenburg. Why spend ~150 $ on fireworks when yoy can watch them for free?
Happy new year!

A very happy new year to all of you!
I'm going to sleep. hours earlier than last year,
I'm growing old, but I'm fine with it
I'll be a happy man the moment I'll touch my bed

And a Happy New Hangover to everyone else! That explains why this is so late. But it was very cool seeing the PEACE sign in lights on the Sydney Harbour Bridge after the fireworks.

Yes it was cool! Let's hope some of that sentiment actually rubs off on our World leaders at this trying time...

Seems like we had a virtual Poly meet at the harbour fireworks with Skanky, MWIA and I all in seperate attendance...
At least MWIA and I were able to wish each other a mutual Happy New Years over the mobile - hope we can catch up over the next coupla days...
Here's a pic of the fireworks...

Happy New Year from someone you've likely never seen before!
Fireworks outside are nice though.

I'm surprised I made it into Rasbelin's mental list of Apolyton posters.

WTF? My atomic clock here (gets radio signals from NIST) sez 0001 CST but Poly is like 4 minutes behind or something...
Anyways, let's hope this year isn't as much a failure as the last.

er, it did say 0000 CST, but now(last post-relative) it said 0001 and now it sez 0003. darnit
I was going to say something, but I forgot it, so, anyways, happy new year...
what are some of your resolutions?
1. I resolve to get a life and stop posting on Apolyton and NationStates at such hours.
2. But Apolyton is a reasonable replacement for a life!
3. Hey! 2 wasn't a resolution.
4. Neither was 3.
5. I resolve to scrap this terrible list of "resolutions" and make up a better one later.
Oh crap...I'll have to mentally train myself to write 2003 now...oh well
It hit me, about halfway through 2002 though, that the first day I ever had to write the sequence of numbers "2002" was January 2nd 2002 IIRC...no kidding...weird...and IIRC I've not written 2003 yet either...I will try putting it off as long as possible :P
EDIT: wait a minute....I just wrote 2003...right there, on the post.......oh ****
at least I have an advantage with...er...the next year. won't fall for it again.
