I guess they're celebrating new year somewhere,
and they totally forgot about apolyton!
Or they're so drunk that they don't know how to logoff their DL's anymore, and now they wonder why they're not capable to ban people........

better hurry and post before lock down.
Mark has been locking down any thread that
has anything to do with this..
guess there was some party at mings
and all were drunk and there was some folks, including ming and rah at the party using mings or rahs logon to do naughty things to the forum
i didn't see any of the activity...only a silly thread arguing the merits of pizza....which is gone too i think.
ck the link above for the official comment..

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering too.. there was a thread about it, but I can't seem to find it.

this is what Markos said:
Quote:

The status of Ming and Rah are depicted on their special titles.
|
what is that title?
What exactly happened? Did they spam themselves?
It's been proven right now:
moderators whom's name do not start with 'm' won't stand long
If they're indeed removed, that'll be a dissapointment

Given their high ethical standards, I'm sure they banned themselves.
I'm glad. We don't need no stinking Yankees.

So the removal of their names from the mod list is the result of the deadly 'Ming Rah' computer glitch we've all head so much about? Or the awful 'Ming Rah' virus, that goes around removing the names 'Ming' and 'Rah' from web sites?
Dan:
Markos:
MtG: :thinking cap:
Ming, Rah & pals:
We need a thinking cap guy for MtG.

Of course, you're from Canada.
Lancer's prediction for the end result of this snafu:
From now on folks passing through Chicago are going to be treated to a nice glass of milk and some swell cookies...

I sure do hope Monica Lewinsky wasn't involved this time around...
Considering the infamous honesty and courage of Chigaco politicians I'm sure we could expect at least the same from the almost equally famous twins Ming and Rah (also known under the names Sauron and Saruman...)....

The one BIG problem in having fun yanking their chain, is that they'll be back.
You know there is going to be Hell to pay after all have got their jabs in.
It's not like MarkG would be nuts enough to let them get away.

Anyway, apolyton history is being written at this very moment!
In 2 years we'll remember the "Ming and Rah vanishing incident"
"Ming and who" will our children ask...........
