6 movies are being prepared about Alexander's life.
And Venizelos has sat his fat arse on the neck of all 6 producers

He looks like he has a great many bee stings in the "real thing". Maybe a rash of some form.

meanwhile, great historians(e.g. cinema journalists) argue about the sexuality of Alexander. some say he is gay. while other confirm that he is bi(in fact, according to that historian, alexander will be the first bisexual action hero)

Why is Decaprio mangling what Alexander looks like? Maybe we should see how he looks in the movie before making that judgment? Hollywood can do amazing things.

Given Leo's sex symbol status with the ladies, I suppose this means they will ignore, gloss over or just lie about his deliances with men?
What crap.

yep most of them are just plans for the time being.
Although there does seem to be a "Alexander" mania going on in the US.

Have you seen Gangs of New York? I don't see why he wouldn't be considered someone with fighting skills?
Did Brad Pitt convince you as someone with great fighting skills before 'Fight Club'?

Traditionally, the perception in Hollywood is that heart throbs should avoid playing gay/bi characters lest it tarnish their "stud" image. Agents will often forbid their actors from playing gay more than once, as once is ok for broadening acting repetoire, but more than once would raise eyebrows.
Leo has played gay once before, so I doubt you'll see him do so again. Same thing with Matt Damon, Jude Law, etc. The only "heart throb" who has played a gay character more than once that I can think of is an actual gay actor, Rupert Everett.

BTW, in the latest issue of Empire ( a british cinema magazine, the largest one of its kind in the UK actually) there is an interview of Oliver Stone.
He says there is no "gay thing" in the movie.
Just some referance about bi, which of course does not encapsulate the life of AtG, defines or limits him at justthat.

So Paiktis, they will film in Morroco?
It was interesting in the article that they may get 5,000 soldiers to play the armies!

Yes, in Morroco. It seems it is very much cheaper there.
Hmm will they get so many? Or just computer animate them like they did in LOTR?

Depends on the director's ego, but 5,000 men would make a spectaular display, better then a simulation, wouldn't you think?

In a 1950s Italian version of Les Miserables, the director got 2,000 extras to do the street fighting between the student rebels and the French National Guardsmen.
The result was some spectacular scenes, and many many many injured extras, some quite seriously.
