help!
I was experiencing some problems with my civ3 - i haven't bought PTW- and I tried in vain to reiinstall. Thean I tried to uninstall, but it wouldn't work too, so I did it manually. I now try to install civ3 but thw screen after autorun doesn't give me such an option, I can only reinstall or uninstall but neither happens when o click. I tried to run the install and the civ3 exe from the cd-Rom but the result is the same. What can I do?

I found this in another thread, I not sure if it will help you, but you could try.

Mike,
First of all, make sure that your system folder options are setup to
"Show
All Files", since the folder you're going to be looking for is hidden.
After that, browse to the following directory:
C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information
In this directory there may be several folders, depending on how many
programs are currently installed on the system that use Installshield
as the
installer. The folder names will be in brackets and will consist of a
long
list of characters. For example:
{978A2104-8363-11D4-AA23-0000E889C4DA}
Go into each folder, and open SETUP.INI. You'll find a line that looks
like
this:
AppName=X
Look for the one where X is Civilization. After that, delete the
folder
that contains that file, and then run the setup one more time.
Hope that helps
