Yeah, I was somewhere in the middle. I'd have thought my people would be really nice
As for how they know this, I don't know...

Mine are #4 in the nicest people
Akiria commends Mad Capitan, for once again having a top nation. Disarmament, nice people, beautiful countryside... Akiria would like to start a cultural exchange program with Mad Capitan, so that we might learn from each other, to be even nicer, more considerate, and more beautiful (gotta love those scandanavian women )

Floydtopia is 2nd on dumbest . I guess that says something about the education system in a hardcore libertarian society.

I came in 9th place. I guess the bulk of my ultra-consumerist citizens aren't too bright.
(shrug)
All the better for we in the ruling conspiracy, who manipulate everything and are the captains of the enormously powerful economy
All the brains at the top, baby
That said, it would be nice to have a a larger ruling elite, with more people for high-end research....
We'll have to invest more in education and open up civil liberties somewhat. But the conspiracy must remain firmly in power, that is a must.

As posted on the nationstates.net page:
(in Mr. Burns voice)
Excellent... excellent... The people are too stupid too topple the conspiracy that rules our great nation.
It would be nice to have a larger intellectual elite for high-end research, however... and we could include them at some level of the government decision-making, since they wouldn't be as dumb as a brick like the rest of the people... hmm.... yes, more funding for higher education.

Today's United Nations Report
The Happiest Citizens in Apolyton
A recent survey attempted to measure the average happiness of citizens in various nations. These results should be treated with caution, however, as results tend to fluctuate from day to day.
# Nation UN Category Motto
1. The Federation of Redfern
2. The Free Land of Lamendum
3. The Commonwealth of Akiria
4. The Disputed Territories of The Mad Capitan
5. The People's Republic of Uberlandia
6. The Dominion of Zoran
7. The Kingdom of Wine
8. The Free Republic of Marijuania
9. The Republic of Stefu
10. The Free Republic of Dissidents
Apparently Akiria is well ranked in this report, but still, even if they are a dictatorship, I wonder if Akizeta did not cheated in the survey

This shows clearly that the UN's rankings are flawed.
just read Redfern's description:
poor citizens are left to die on the steets.

Uhmmm
"unless they are unemployed or working-class, in which case they are variously starving to death or crippled by easily preventable diseases"
And this is our top one (RedFern).
Very happy indeed

Yes. The massive amount of happiness given to the employed makes up for the people that are unemployed. It may not sit soundly with many, but I believe that a free market leads to a happier population altogether. Although Akiria questions the results, we do not instantly dismiss them.
We have no people dying on the streets, our goal is to make everyone happy, therefore we cannot agree with the stance of Redfern and Lamendum (Capitalist and Corporate Bordello respectively). This is proof that Akirians are happy. We would like to point that out to all the people who disagree with Akizeta simply because it is AI, and not human.
