Yes, and perhaps let's bump that AU PBEM thread in the strategy forum. Although I would prefer it, the new game doesn't have to be with the AU mod, in case that puts people off.

The Iroquois are in receipt of everyone's promise to grind everyone else into dust or die trying. Our wise men have taken time out from MW training to consider the situation. We have very little experience with slow movement warfare and have two questions.

First, would it not be difficult for a small civ trying to press an attack to deal with a stack of three spears, a zero bombardment archer, and a scout moving one square at a time along our road system, with the two move scout pillaging as they went?

Second, if a civ is willing to suffer a bit of temporary pillaging, would not walls be difficult for an attacking civ armed with only archers to overthrow?

It is in the Iroquois interest that it's notable neighbors, custodians of so much future wisdom, stop this outrageous and destructive combat. But, no matter......
