Annoucement: First Lemuria Chat!
I will be in the apolyton chat-room thursday 09/01/2003 at 08:00 AM apolyton time (chech the bottom of this thread page - GMT 3:00). In the channel named "Lemuria". Playing the turns! Reporting what happened.
The chat will just be there since i believe i am going to play a lot of turns in a row. But probably nothing will happen. If something does i will halt the game and start polling about it. My guess is that i will halt the game when the first warrior is built.
Still i will be there
EDIT: A small change in the hour
EDIT2: Re-schedule

This is related to the small change in the hour editing
The AM is a left over. the hour is 20:30.

Mr. President, sir. I know you cannot possibly please all the people all the time; and our great nation is bound to prosper under your munificent rule; but chasing me out of bed at 04:30 in the morning could be dangerous to everybody’s health.
And I want my merit badge!
I'm sure you'll know what to do.

That's very poor timing, Pedrunn, in the middle of the night for the majority of Lemurians... I would love to be there but on such a time that's of course impossible.
For future threads, you may want to try to keep time differences into account and make sure at least Europe and America have reasonable times (and if possible Oceania as well, but that wouldn't be easy), especially when all but three of the official government members (including the moderator) are Europeans

Frozz, you've screwed that.
20:30 + 5 != 03:30 am
20:30 + 5 == 25:30 ==01:30 am
It's not much better, and I sure won't be there, but it's not totally unreasonable, having seen the hours that Apolytonners usually keep.

But that's only the starting time of the chat, IW, those threads can go on for hours...
Anyway, that's still 2:30am CET, which *is* unreasonable (for me, at least). If the chat would be 2 hours earlier it would be okay with me (although I wouln't stay more than an hour, at most)...

Yeah, true. I was thinking more for the 8 Brits (and iskallin of course), they may be able to attend for an hour.

3/8:00 AM? As in, in the morning? That would be very awkward for Americans and even for most Europeans that could be troublesome (school/work permitting, I usually get out of bed between 9:00 and 11:00 - and when school/work don't permit, I obviously don't have time for a chat ). 3/8 PM would make more sense to me...
Anyway, if you must insist on that time, it's basically okay with me, but odds are I won't be there until halfway the chat (getting up early is NOT something I'm good at)...

I'm in an exams (AFK) from midnight tonight (13 hours time) to midday on the 10th.
The best time for chats, to please as many Euros and Americans as possible is about 10pm GMT. (=2pm WST, 5pm EST) through to 3am GMT (=7pm WST, 10pm EST)
Dunno how convenient that will be for Oz and NZ though.

I agree, keeping the chats somewhere within that time frame would be ideal. If I'm not mistaken that's comes down to the morning/early afternoon Oceanian time, so that's not too bad either...

hold on.
8am Apolyton Time == 1pm GMT, 2pm CET
The only people that is convenient for is the Aussies, where it'll be their evening.

Table of time zones (I hope I didn't screw it up). In bold what would overall seem to be the best time frame to organize a chat in:
Code:
