Vpn Multiplayer
I have connection to Internet with PPPOE protocol.
in help of ctp2, it says that it is not possible to play multiplayer using a game server.
I have established a vpn connection with my opponent (over Internet), to try to play using the multiplayer option tcp/ip.but we have not managed to enter the same lobby I believe that it can be a problem with the ports, so that I cannot send and receive archives by yahoo either to messenger.

Hmm no one seems to be able to help and im not about to either
There was some talk on the forum recently how to get a VPN game working because the only server that worked (nlink) disappeared. But then the server came back and we forgot about a VPN game.
I know nothing about VPN's but did you try the LAN option?

Hmmm, Win2000 is renown for being a poor platform to play games on... I don't suppose there's any chance you could test it on a different windows version is there?
You could see if you can start the game in Win98 compatibilty mode, but I'm not sure if this option exists in Win2000. In XP, you right-click ctp2.exe, select properties, go to the Compatibility tab and set the Compatibilty mode to Win98/ME...

Gracias a todos, había pasado por alto intentar con el servidor de nlalink (que pelotudo). De todas maneras sería interesante conseguir jugar por VPN, creo que es una buena manera de no depender de los servidores de juegos.
Thanks to all, had ignored to try with the servant of nlalink. Of all ways he would be interesting to be able to play by VPN, I believe that it is a good way of not depending of the game servers.
