Rename Cities?
I'm getting a little sick of all these Spanish named cities, I want to rename some of them to reflect the proper glory of Apolyton. Perhaps honoring the greats who have contributed to the game but are no longer around for one reason or another. Of course I'm eager to hear suggestions from my fellow citizens. And it doesn't have to be limited to apolyton, mythical names, made up names, etc, etc are cool too. But can we get away from these spanish (actually generic names now) names? It bores me.

I don't care really, but I got a idea for a name of a city:
Hydey Vill(town/city)!

I'd like to see "semi-thematic" names. Keep one area of all Spanish cities, maybe set up a continent with "glory of Poly" names, perhaps descriptive names for lonely distant outposts ("Far North" "Canal" etc.)

It would do no harm, and a lot of the cities sound like they actually belong to the other civs.

I hate it when Civ gets down to city names like cunaxa, turin, etc.

New city names!
All we have is St. Praski to honour our prestigious presidents.
Let's have Cavebear City, Hydeyville, HTowerland, etc.
It'll make my job less boring.

Sounds good to me. In our last game, we generally managed to name a city for our past President's, and I never got one.

Well naming them after the presidents is a great idea, can one of the leftover towns be named Fenway, would make this fella in particular very happy
also a pick to verify this would be nice hehe
