Any Australians here?
I am wondering what would be our own Aussie UU.
Would it be a boomerang wielding native or maybe a WWI Digger or maybe a surfie type of unit.
I reckon a defender bloke equipped with a beer gut and able to take many hits before getting smashed.

I vaguely remember seeing a similar discussion here last year. Somebody proposed a Steve Irwin.

C'mon - you're not thinking very hard. Either a Ned Kelly style bandit/partisan or an aboriginal . I'd say the Ned Kelly might get more terrain bonuses for defence and can steal a portion of a civ's gold if it gets to a city, and the aboriginal requires no support.

Quite a while back, I made an Australian civ modpack, and made the Anzac as the UU.
While a WWI infantry unit is IMHO the best choice of a UU for Australia, Anzac isn't really a good choice of name for this unit since the Anzacs were as much a part of Kiwi military history as they were Australian, but unfortunately, Anzac was the only thing that came to my mind. Basically, this unit was an Infantry with 8/10/1 stats and all terrain as road.
