In address broadcast on Hobbit TV, President Hobbes stated, "The sea? Who cares about the sea! Nasty, cold, wet stuff. We don't care who goes where or posts what signs on the sea. Good riddance."

The president's words were interrupted by a breaking news story- While little information is at hand yet, it seems mysterious slogans have begun appearing over Hobbit territory. Could these be the Alpha Centauri version of crop circles? The Hobbit airforce has done fly-overs with little to report. It seems that Hobbit territory too has been infected with sloganitis.

SO.............anyone want to form a colaltion of the willing to wipe out the alien plague before the phone home? Not that I'm sure you need anything like my miniscule help.

Least I'm getting some cash now, though not at the levels of some swiss(?) bankers.

Some minor land clearing of clearly mistaken lettering in anicent jungle ruins took place, but are unlikly to effect anything.

Yes. . . no problem as long as you stop allowing Hobbit planes to attack my bases by being based in your bases-- A quick look shows that two planes attacked from there this year-- A nation cannot claim peace while allowing bombers of my enemy to use their runways

I looked at the turn but there's a lot to do so I will play tonight.

The Angels dispute the portrayal of their people by the Hobbits.

WE sent numerous messages asking that the Hobbits not base choppers or offensive weaponry right at our border. In particular we asked that the Hobbits not base choppers in Scone since it was in range of about 6 or 7 Angel bases and about 90% of Angel industrial capacity.

How can there possibly be peace? There isn't a chance of ever trusting someone who without provocation STARTS a war by ATTACKING a peaceful nation without warning. You want peace? Stop attacking.
