Perhaps Arnelos may call in some ringers from the PTW game (or any other forum for that matter)to support him? People who otherwise haven't posted in the Demo game for....well.....a VERY long time?
'Edit - I don't actually believe my above statement to be true, just causing a ruckus....

This is actually troubling. While it is not illegal to bring in other members of 'poly to vote for them, (or fellow teammates on PTW), this is borderline political corruption!
[rp]
I denounce Arnelos and his underhanded scheme to snatch away the rightful place of Aro as President! Certainly during his campaign we shall find, in a proper investigation, the corrupt politics behind the Arnelos/Nimitz campaign. The PEOPLE, in full morality, must know that to support Arnelos is to support greater political corruption, that to prevent himself from losing Arnelos would stoop to even the lowest levels of politics.
The people MUST vote Aro, whom has led nothing but a clean and friendly campaign, not involving himself in the low-life mudslinging that has become the face of DIA politics!
Don't let our nation become dragged down by corrupt officials who care nothing for our nation, but only for their personal pride!
Chairman of ALP Meshelic
[/rp]
Edit - I urge none of you to take this seriously at all.

Actually, I haven't advertised on the Roleplay Team boards AT ALL. The reason is that I have a funny feeling that most of them would vote AGAINST ME because being President over here has caused me to be less active as Governor of Madrid over there
That said, they are good friends

Eegads...one vote CAN mean something!
At least temporarily. And with the proper lack of perspective. A nature that tends towards the narcisstic helps a bit too.

I can attest to this. In fact the Roleplay forum is devoid of any mention of the SPDG game - we are busy enough with the PtWDG and our roleplaying.

The Gathering Storm have already lost two (Shiber and I). Although I think Shiber may be more involved with the GS than I am now, probably. I had to cut my involvement there down to only popping in every now and then, sadly.
I basically had to choose 2 of 3 choices between being SMC, having a real life, and being Foreign Minister of the GS. Unfortunately for GS (Or maybe the other way around) I decided real life and being SMC were the two choices I had to take for now...

This is one of the best elections we have had in a long time. This is great. Love it. Super.
I still am not sure who to vote for.... and even if I do I am hesitant to say as it will probably drive everybody away from from them.....
We are already talking about in the court what to do if we this election ends up being a tie, so no needs to worry. Togas is keeping up and keeping everything on track.
Thanks Togas for getting this runnoff up so soon and for taking care of the elections in general.

Looks like everybody who voted in the first Presidential Poll has now voted.
As expected, looks like the voters for Aggie split 7-4 in favor of Aros.
