So it would have been exactly like the DIA.

I certainly hope you people are voting for who you think is the best candidate and not voting simply to maintain a tie.

|
Let's set the record straight, the DIA OPPOSED the construction of Marketplaces.
Sir Ralph and the Hawks were the ones pushing for Marketplaces while the DIA campaigned against them and wanted Librairies instead. They obviously wanted Librairies so they could twist the minds of the people with their pamphlets of propoganda.
I've noticed that since I've been calling Arnelos and Spiffor on their "colorful" if inaccurate history they have decided to keep their mouths shut.
The Real History of the DIA (Dumb Ignorant Anti-apolytonians)
1) Have tried since their beginning to enslave the common Apolytonian into an imprisonment of Welfare Programs and Government Dependency.
2) Fought the construction of Marketplaces.
3) Declared the Great Banana was evil.
4) Campaigned to give in to Joan and the French Empire and take up their ways.
5) Campaigned to give in to Persia and be their puppet state.
6) Burned the capitol to the ground and built a new Frenchified one and declared our empire to be renamed Macross Sissian.
7) Are laying off millions of hardworking immigrants and natives from their good paying government jobs and dropping them unemployed into our inner cities.
Let us not give into their Agenda, fellow Apolytonians.
Vote Aro/Aggie.

GhengisFarb,
Most of the so-called blemishes to the DIA (if they really took place... I've learned not to take much GF says seriously ) took place before I even arrived.
When I did join the DIA and made my way into the leadership, I moved the party it to the right
As it stands now, the DIA by by far the most pro-business party, the lies of you an your socialist friends aside
Spiffor and myself, in particular, have been pushing marketplaces and banks before all other improvements other than courthouses of late. We've also been pushing for the Wall Street wonder, while you and your socialists friends have fought against these
In fact, if you use the old duck rule, Ghengis, you might as well be a socialist yourself... you smell like one, you look like one, you quack like one... you must BE one. I mean, you're supporting the communist party candidate against a pro-business ticket and your NationStates nation didn't even make the top 10 for pro-business policy list like mine did... some "capitalist" you are

The DIA has always been the Socialist Anti-War Party but I will give it credit for trying to reinvent itself as America's Democratic Party did after the Civil War.

Exactly, you are putting lawyers before business, and to say I have been against the Wall Street Wonder is a blatant lie. More false DIA propaganda!
As for the rest, Aro/Aggie is far more pro-business than your ticket. I have no problem with socialism as long as it does not do so through the complete elimination of capitalism which is what the DIA wants.
And my NationStates country has nothing to do with this debate.
Although I am ranked 8th.

Voted for Arnelos. Just because Arnelos always PMs me those DIA newsletters, even though I'm not even around C3DG. Ironically, the one who sent me a link to this thread wasnt Arnelos. Well your efforts finally paid off Arney, you earn one vote.
