our president would like to report that a large deposit of uranium has been found in the jungle. after long consideration we have conluded to start a small mining operations that will have little effect on the enviroment. our president would like to talk to other nations about trading argeements of uranium and a sharing of technical knowhow about uranium.

This may be a bit late, but: Centralis has long experience in dealing with uranium, as it has always been a prime national industry, and would be happy to sell equipment and share expertise with Sheathed Sword.

For some odd reason, my national animal is teetering on the brink of extinction due to deforestation and I haven't even gotten the uranium and cutting down the forest issue.

you get this if you're easy on corporations, generally. one rainforest doesn't change anything, I think. I chose a small mining as well. ( now the region is a desert, btw

no, my country is still described as enviromentally stunning. but if you check out my map It's a desert now. Still have plenty of forests on the other end.
