Hmm... I can't recall who would have been banned. IIRC Yin26 wasn't banned, but maybe I remember wrong.

Yin was a mod? I got the impression from his civ3 posts that he was a bit of a troll.

Yeap, Yin was the second OTF mod on the old UBB forums of Poly. He and Ming shared that position. However he was later sacked for arguing with Marky Sparky.

Hmm... looks like I mixed up badly that. I need to check it.
Ming,
I agree, it's a LMAO like statement.
/me checks if Yin has ever been a mod.
Dummy me. He was modding the Civ III forums when they first appeared on the old UBB forums.

Spikey,
I'm convinced that I have it correct now.
Yin was moderator of the first two Civ III foras on the old UBB setup. He was sacked by Markos as he started an arguement in public.

Nowadays advertising doesn't pay off well. What really counts are donations and paid services. More members -> more traffic -> more expenses -> slightly increased incomes.

Loc,
if you know so damn much about the financies I talked about, then go ahead and express yourself, but quit that crap.
Solver,
yes, having fun is one thing, but abusive messages aren't.

Only when you try to sound knowledgable on things you don't know. But heck, don't take that personal, I do it to everybody that does that

And why wouldn't I know what I say? I only talk about subjects I know about. Period.

I wasn't just referring to the financial part. But as far as that goes, I don't know much about it, but I don't pretend to either...

Neither did I pretend that I would know everything. I only made several conclusions and mentioned in the first post that I'm not saying that I know better than Dan and Markos how to run this site. As for the humor, I have a sense for it, but not insulting one.

Ming,
I noticed that little mistake too. I should have checked it, but apparently I first remembered it wrong. Mistakes happen, so I corrected my statement in the follow-up message. That's ought to be good enough and fair.

Yes, after it was pointed out because I didn't notice it earlier. Why? I didn't think about checking it as I've heard it several times before and actually I have been around here when he was still mod. Although you can't remember all small details so precisely after a few a years, unless it would be very important. BTW, I didn't try to be an expert. I only said what I knew (unfortunately I confused myself and mixed him with MLeonard).
Yeah, you can stop laughing now.

Ming, you actually deleted my thread that was very young because of supposed spam. What your doing here now also contisttueus the very spam you spoke of. So unless you wish to feed into my paranoia, I recommend you close the thread
I also must condemn you for not doing your job. A moderator is supposed to moderate and keep the peace, and clearly your not doing that. Your comments seemed to be engineering to generate a negative response (Which, by the way, is a troll) which again you have said to me is something moderators do not enjoy.
So, unless those things you said to me (Which again were: You pretty much hate spamming and trolling) were false, please close this thread. Thank you.

You are welcome to your opinion... but that's all it is
So to your request... No.
It seems you are still pissed about your lost thread...
Well... whine all you want.
