I sponsored two Proposals
One of them is for free trade and a reduction of tariffs (with strength as strong) and the other is to protect the natural environment from uranium mining.

It is in the interests of Falangusta to regulate trade to avoid our local economy for being swallowed by more powerful countries.
Also, since Falangusta relies on Uranium mining for its development, the banning of Uranium will be a death blow to the 8 million inhabitants.
The King expresses his worries on this "extremely unreasonable and short sighted" resolution.

'Short sighted' would be protectionism. In the long run, if everyone liberalised, then everyone would be better off. ie. their economnies would grow.
