A good movie with "death" themes....
I like a movie with where character's have to deal with death, or imminence of death approaching them. It intrigues me. Is there any good movie with this theme I can watch? Movie doesnt have to be all about death, Titanic had scenes of people preparing for their doom and how different people reacted in different way...
its late and before i go i can think of few examples of movies so you can recommend me a similar ones.

Try to find "Last Holiday," a 1950s comedy/drama starring Alec Guiness. That's my favorite on this topic (after Seventh Seal).
Also "Harold and Maude." Really.

Actually, perhaps the best picture of 2002 is about death: When We Were Soldiers.

Stone Boy. Probably the best movie nobody ever heard of. Robert Duvall, Glenn Close and Wilfred Brimsley all worked for peanuts just to be in this.

Grave of the Fireflies, for sure. Excellent movie, and exactly what you're looking for.
To a lesser degree, Jin-Roh might be appropriate as well.

Let me add:
Drama:
"Diary of Anne Frank"
Mystery/Thriller:
"And then there were none" (the original was the only good one)
"And Soon the Darkness"
Horror:
"I bury the living"
"The ring"
"theater of blood"
"Tales from the Crypt"

I watched it. It was okay. I didnt like how VCs were crackshot snipers and US soldiers were goldy invincible in CQB. Only one US marine fell dead in the whole movie. (I counted) and the VC was hiding and he didnt see him.
Movie didnt really deal with death at all. It was an interesting war film that dealt with issues on war, but not death. I think AQWF is the only film that really did well to portray issues of war as well as bring a character to face death.
I'm looking for movie that is more like seventh seal-ish. Oy, that movie was just sooooo great.
Diary of anne frank sounds exactly like what i am looking for. thanks.

I watched grave of fireflies. No real emphasis of characters facing death, though they encounter poverty and cruelty and they eventually die. Movie is more about war, not death. and victims of war and anti-war message.

How about "On the Beach", "The English Patient", or "Dark Victory"?
Then there's Monty Pythons' "The Meaning of Life".

I usually check to see if the soundtrack is on sale at Amazon.com -- they'll usually have a track listing.

I normally try that, I don't think there is an OST and the DVD/Video doesn't mention it.
