Are we reporting only battles, or "sightings" as well?

Yea, good idea. If you can report things that would have been "seen" but are not it will help and be fair.

I don't understand what is meant by "report sightings". Sightings of what, and why to report it?

I have to go to a customer dinner. So that is it for me. I meant that in war situations we should report movement that would normally be seen in single player games but goes undetected in MP. Pretty loose concept, I guess. Sent

I have some bad news. I will be away without civ again this weekend from Friday around noon (my time) until Monday evening. Sorry to delay the game once again.

Well, I'll be here all weekend...

Your file did not arrive yet.
And if this comforts you, there were more units hidden in the city to reach you.

I've resent the file twice now. The second time should definitely work.
I find nothing comforting about losing battles to overwhelming force when the first attacker gets lucky. Your luck will run out, just in time for me to CRUSH YOU!
Ahem.

Bring it, if you think you can get something good out of it.

EDIT: Ok, point taken and nasty comment removed. Btw, my so far undoubtly existing RNG luck in this game is compensated by extreme unluck in a SP game of mine. Only one example, yesterday I lost seven veteran swordsmen taking a floodplain city defended by 2 regular (and later elite) spearmen. More about this game soon in the Strategy forum. Alex, as you see, I'm having a good time.

Last I heard frogs go into stasis when caught in below-freezing temperature, so there was nothing to worry about.
On to Sir Ralph.
P.S: Be american, join the war (or instigate one)!

Gramps Speaks!
Reading from the Canadian Oxford Dictionary:
Instigate: urge on or incite others to esp. a foolhardy or drastic act.
So, America is not instigating. We would be happy if other folks would shut up and leave us to our work, which is to protect ourselves from definite threats. Those who convince our friend SH that he has any options are instigating, however. He should give up his weapons and go back to routine torturing of his own people.
When they stop knocking down buildings we have worked in and stop threatening our grandchildren with virus or nukes, we will calm down and proceed with getting filthy rich. Until then, not.
There is no truth to the rumor that Egypt is waiting for a moonless night to attack

Would you keep politics out of these threads? Thanks. There's enough idiocy going on in the OT.

I apologize for my (uncharacteristic) political comment. I assure you that my opinion is not coherent enough to even begin debating this issue.
Sir Ralph is right, let's stick to the game. We'll deal with nukes when someone builds the Manhattan Project...
