This was the last turn for me for about 2-3 hours.
I'm getting dragged away from the computer to go see a movie as we speak!

A couple of games were stopped dead yesterday by missing files. Maybe posting saves really is the right way to keep things rolling by providing that extra backup that makes it failsafe.

I usually don't have problems with my email account. Things like this do rarely happen.

lf we and the email system are 97% successful in doing things right the first time, we have less than a one-third chance of going through 10 rounds, or two days, without a breakdown in transferring the file successfully.
Bear in mind that we are dealing with people who write not when they mean night and click on the wrong files once in a while, as well as with an email network that has its own problems.
Being an absent minded professor type, I like the idea that the posted file means people can fix my screwups without having to track me down.

Dominae's turn.
Sorry, I'm not very good on weekends.
I'll be here for a couple of hours and then off to a superbowl party.

Sir Ralph is up. I too will be gone soon; no party for me, though, just some work at school.

Balloon thing? I played with it a bit because it I'm not sure what it did...No idea it's a faux-pas.
On to Sir Ralph.

Oh, I thought you were talking about the balloons that appear next to the player names in the new MP interface (the ones that block diplomatic channels). Took me a while to figure out they're useless in PBEM games...
