Have you copied the downloaded cities to the Downloaded folder?
Maybe they got deleted when you reinstalled?

I put the files in the san fransisco folder and they showed up in the download folder when importing. Now that it's using them for the region I just copy them straight in there and overwrite the old ones.
Be sure to put it in the C:/mydocuments/simcity 4 folders, it's not in the same directory that the game is in.

Hey, that's an interesting snippet of information. I never knew that, and every time I downloaded a new version of someone's city, I always went through the "Import city" menu. But your method is surely much faster. Thanks.
Tass, like the folks above said, there are two distinct Downloads folders - one in the game installation directory, and the other in your my documents \ simcity 4 forlder. you need to put the files in the latter.

Now Tassadar is the only one missing
Btw, which spot have you chosen?

NewB question:
I understand the RCI concept, however I'm not understanding this:
My RCI indicator (expanded) says thers a high demand for Residential $, $$, and even $$$. I understand that. However, it also says there is a high demand for CS$, a low demand for CS$$, negative demand for CS$$$, moderate demand for CO$$ and moderatoe demand for CO$$$. Whats the difference between CS and CO?
Then it also says there is extremly high demand for I--AG, extremly negative for ID, IM, and IHT. What are these?

CO = commercial offices
CS = commerical... something (I don't remember )
I-AG = agriculture
I-D = Dirty Industry
I-M = Manufacturing Industry
I-HT = High-Tech Industry

I haven't installed the patch, but my game acts like I have the patch installed... strange... but I don't think it'll cause any trouble if some are playing with the patch, and others don't have the patch...

Nope, I don't think the patch will cause any problems, as it doesn't deal with neighbor connections or deals.
Oh, and welcome to our game, Maq.

Well i downloaded all the cities (except Tass') and imported them, they all loaded and worked, except that Osweld's city asked to reconcile the borders when i loaded it after importing all cities.
My biggest pop so far is only 15,000, this should be interesting

Industry becomes all messed up (You have to have a road next to EVERY industry tile.). Total game killer.

You're lucky then...
Btw: You need to play your turn ASAP, since it's now about a week, since we (the other players ) have played a turn...
