Would be better, if you write the +/- % numbers instead...
I have the numbers for this turn, but would make it much easier if all players calculated those numbers

Sure looks like a bench to me. I've drawn a little stick-figure guy sitting on it - maybe that will help you visualize it.

That really brings it to life
I suppose it does. That brown thing over the top is abit confusing though.
So whats the thing on the other lawn, a swimming pool? Looks small if it is.

I haven't seen one of those in real life, but I think they took the graphic from The Sims, where they also have such a bench... can't give you a screenshot though, since I don't have it anymore...

I guess we only have those in California. Look at the pic below:
This one is not exactly like that, but you get the idea.

Kregston, 2016
Population: 13 377
Commercial Jobs: 5 043
Industrial Jobs: 1 402
The last two years have been spent planing construction through the various valleys and hills surrounding the city, within the next two years kregston should span all the way from Kregston Harbour to the west coast.
Although there had been plans for the construction of a recycling plant and a beach this year, they had to be delayed due to the planning involved in Kregston's expansion taking much more time then expected.
You can download it here.

Great. I just came back and regained my I-net connection and the SimCity CD. I'll be playing my turn promptly.
Oh, and thumbs up on updating the site, too.

Oh, and one more thing I just noticed... I DL'ed ( ) Maq's city, and didn't find it on the map of our region... I did find out where it is supposed to be by browsing the thread, but you might want to update the pic for new people who might want to join, ADG.

I actually went a month further then I was supposed to that time. I lost track of time while trying to plan out my buildings in the hills and keeping it as aesthetic looking as possible. Really time consuming

Alrightie, I have played my turn.
Vovanburg '16
Population: 9 816 (+17%)
Commercial Jobs: 5 858 (+12%)
Industrial Jobs: 1 807 (+53%)
As always, the city can be found here:
http://apolyton.net/upload/files/vov...-Vovanburg.zip
There isn't much going on - I have replaced most of the residential area with medium density (it was on low originally...), and added some more high-density industrial for the High-Tech, and med-density commerce. Also, as you can see from the view of my city, the first fairly-high rise apartment has been built.

I don't want to seem impatient, but... Where is everybody? It can't be that only Osweld and I are still interested in SC4, can it?

I'm still interested, I just haven't been able to play the last few days. But now that spring break has started, I'll have more time, at least for the next 11 days. Hopefully I'll play my turn tomorrow.

This turn is called: "Two years of hell"...
My industry went down (about 70% of all industry went to abondoned)... because of lack of industry, my sims didn't have any jobs anymore: a large part of the poor/medium-wealth sims lost their homes...
The only good part is: More high-wealth sims came to town (+ 3 high-wealth buildings I have never seen before, was built during this turn)...
but all in all, it went to hell
ADGillage:
Population: 17,852 (- 10%)
Comercial Jobs: 4,498 (+ 30%)
Industrial Jobs: 3,109 (- 20%)
City uploaded, and in the same place as earlier...

Pretty quiet, starting building my residential railroad and probably wouldve have +3000 more residential if i had a couple more months to entice Jonny's residents away.
http://apolyton.net/upload/files/Maq...apulco2006.zip
A nice bit -
and a strange Seaside Drive-in, facing a hill and a market of some sort -
Residential - 9,158 (+38%)
Commercial - 548 (+79%)
Industrial - 0 (+0%)

Ocean City '16 now available at: http://apolyton.net/upload/files/Jon...-OceanCity.zip
Growth over these 2 years was slow, but there was still growth, and no decline. A new residential area was built, and our commercial district is really beginning to grow!
Current Population and Population Change:
Residential: 38731 (+12%)
Commercial: 7730 (+21%)
Industrial: 13038 (+6%)
