Turnchat Report (1325ad ----> 1330ad)
Turnchat Report (1325 ad ----> 1330 ad – unfinished)
Presents at the chat (or part of it)
President Aro
VP Aggie
SMC Meshelic
FAM Shiber
Legal Advisor adaMada
Governors:
dejon
donegeal
Aidun
Panzer
Spiffor(later)
Justice Togas
Senators:
Arnelos, CiverDan, E_T, General Tacticus, mrmitchell, panag, roadcage, Trip, zeit.
( sorry if I forgot someone... )
The facts:
(just kidding )
1325 ad
I couldn’t implement the DM joncnunn orders in this turn (well, I did, but I messed up the save and lost the work)
Frankfurt abandoned (all improvements sold, income = 60L).
Neo Frankfurt (suggestions for names? I like it) founded.
SMC Meshelic moved his troops preparing to attack Leipzig.
Turn ended
Inter turns
A Japanese fleet is observed near Another Glorious City, and three other fleets (south El Duderino, near Tarsus and south Loveshack) are moving toward Uber Isle.
Babs and Romans moving North, in the east coast of Uber Isle.
Greeks are moving toward Konisbherg, to an assault to Heidelburg (probably)
Aztec troops fortified east Hannover.
Babylon declared war on the Indians!
1330 ad
The mistake about the saves is noticed, and VP Aggie (thanks a lot, Aggie!) made the corrections on the queues.
FAM Shiber requested a trade: Atomic Theory sold to Zululand for 79 gpt, 99 g, WM; total earnings: 1679 gold
SMC Meshelic commanded personally the capture of Leipzig. In his own words, “Operation "Iron Cross" - the assault on Leipzig is a success, the city has fallen and is now in our hands. Operation "Fortress Uber" put into effect - the defense of Uber Isle against invading Japanese forces.”
Congrats for your first victory as SMC, General Meshelic!
More ( if I recall something) later.

posted in other thread, but part of the report:
Damage report
(cause: my mistake when posting and loading saves )
Three queues messed (not much):
Willsbury built ironclad instead of harbour,
Queue at this point: Harbour(2), Pol, Col, wealth (as a placeholder for a Battleship), Bank.
Gotham built Bank instead of Police station.
The queue is: Pol(5), Hos, Court, Col.
Port Rouge didn’t change the queue in turn 1325 AD. I did the change in 1330AD, but, as a consequence, we lost ~20 shields.
The queue: Pol(1), Inf, Fact, Uni, Hos, Bank, Col.
.................................................. ...............................
We had some minor losses in shields, growth or commerce, because I implemented the changes in the WF one turn later (1330 ad).
The PW orders are done in part. The urgent requests of Old Germany are in progress (almost done)
End of the damage report...
.................................................. ................................
The other PW requests aren’t implemented yet (I only can do this in a turnchat, and the last one was interrupted when we figured out what happened)
Only the temple in Berlin was rushed.
No workers joined any city, yet (no harm, it's in time). This should be done in the next turnchat.

Aro, you're doing above and beyond to make up for that one simple mistake. You make many allusions to a possible court case, but seriously - if anyone is going to try to sue you, I will personally see that he is sent to the front lines, to attack an elite German infantry unit as part of a platoon of conscripted swordsmen (don't ask where we found these boys).
I just want you to know that you've got all of our support. You may not believe me when I say this, but so far you've been doing GREAT. The way you organize the government, the way you held that turnchat, and all this effort that you're putting into the DG are just part of what makes you such a great president. You are doing well.

Thanks, Shiber. I'm joking, of course... It's a way to feel more relaxed...
Besides that, I'm just trying to provoke Arnelos...

Great avatar Aro! hehe
I agree with Shib. Our conscripted swordsman brigade are ready to rock and roll, and if it did come to a court case, they'll be sent to Heidelberg, before our armies....

Aro - I concur with the above sentiments. My apologies for not being on the chat. Work. And then I had an after work thing I could not possibly avoid (surprise party for my wife ). Glad to hear the turn went well, with minor hiccups. Will make an extra effort to be there next turn.
(and you're still putting out maps - zowie!)

Thanks, Beta and Mesh...
Guys, we have to finish that turnchat. Minor changes are necessary in the DM orders, reflecting some events in the front (like a settler or two as reserve). The DM and Ra's could download the save and make the orders adjustments.
I would like to finish it tomorrow night, 22:00 GMT. if allowed by the NewCon (adaMada, what do you think?) . If not, Monday would be fine.
Comments, suggestions?

...and about maps...
Nothing new in the Roman front (In fact, we're only waiting the MPP's ends, to make peace with Rome), but Germany deserves a map, for sure. I'll try to post it tomorrow.

Aro and Joncunn, do I need to update my orders before monday?
Aro, have you changed the allocation of the workforce in Willsbury, The Forbindden City and Muncie?

Aidun,
Yes, changed according the orders. But you can take a look in the save and check...
Turnchat Monday, probably. IMHO, the current orders are satisfactory, with minor changes, if needed.
Thanks.

Aro,
The Super Bowl (American football's national championship game - as in American football, not what Americans call soccer ) I believe it starts at 6 p.m. EST tomorrow, which would be 23:00 GMT. So yeah, 22:00 GMT is uncomfortably close to the big game.
