Shouldn't the Birth of the Federation choice use the ![surrender](http://static.apolyton.net/forums/images/smilies/surrender.gif) emoticon?

Why is this fourth, extranneous option so prevalent? It isn`t required to my experience. I made a poll without one..

How dareth you speak against the banana, and call it unrequired.
What else does the uncaring people have to vote for if you remove the banana!?
oiw: it's apolyton tradition, don't try to go against it, many have tried.....and the banana has always prevailed

The banana has never won an election in the Civ3DG, but it's polled fairly well in several elections. The Jungle Gazette did an AWESOME news piece a few months ago where they "interviewed the banana" about how he runs in every single poll and every single election in Apolyton, but always loses... it was rather funny

point#1: we did a poll of Moo1 vs Moo2 at IGMOO, and it came out split like 24-24. I prefer moo2 due to MP and customization, but I admit Moo1 is harder and has less micromanagement, which helps it.
I think Moo3 will take the best of both worlds and put into into one, with some improvements, such as starlanes and robust MP with timed turn limits.
point#2: omg the banana is winning, I'm goign to go vote for it!

But what will happen if the banana becomes even more popular? Imagine that the banana wins a democracy game election. Hmm, now that would be good.

the banana wins hands down here.
Simply because MOO3 is unknown, MOO2 suffers from boring micromanagement of constantly shuffling freighters about, and..
how cool would it be to play a game where you nurture a newborn banana to dominance?

I can't judge Moo3 since I have not played it.
BoTF was a good game, but had some huge flaws that ruined its potential. (like most star trek games)
Moo2 is a great game and a classic, so it get's my vote.

Which, quite simply to the point, is because the original MoO just might beat all of the other options

I am really worried about people who would vote for MOO3 even though its not out yet. ![Idiot](http://static.apolyton.net/forums/images/smilies/debatinwitdornan.gif) Let us not mistake anticipation for greatness. I suppose I can count on your support when I run for President?

I agree. You did it wrong, MoO1 is the best and MoO3 shouldn't have been included. I hope it will beat MoO1 though.

MOO3 looks pretty good, so I voted for that. ![Smile](http://static.apolyton.net/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif) BTW, the almighty Banana lies just two votes under MOO3! Never seen it so strong before!

Yes, like Lemmy said- don't resist the banana! You will fail! (unless you use Black Sigota, then you will succeed)
But if MoO3 lives up even remotely to the hype, then it should be great.

Banana, your time has ended.
The Big Apple has forged an alliance with Giant Peach and Tangerine Dream. A new dark (but juicy) age is upon you all.

I dare you to post that in the Off-Topic forum, They have already squashed at least one attempt. Somebody tried to use strawberry and failed.
So will you Fruity federeration.

Moo2.
Moo3 will be evaluated on its merits when we have something to evaluate.
I'm still trying to find the distinction between options 3 & 4.

Didn't someone try to propose the worship of fruits other than the banana in the CivIII Democracy Game back some time during the ancient age and was promptly exiled from the tribe?

OK,
- I haven't played Moo3 so I can't compare it to Moo2.
- I don't know anything about BOTF (I kid you not! ![Smile](http://static.apolyton.net/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif) )
- I DO know of the banana. You can throw it at people you don't like, use it's skin as an evil trap for the people you don't like, place it down pants of people you don't like to lure large gorillas after them. Otherwise, you can eat it (if you don't have any people you don't like).
Verdit: Banana.
EDIT: Changed the wording of the last sentance. Look at next post to see what it was like before
