i'll vote for the offspring fan, although his well known love of the packers was a serious drawback and almost made me vote the other way

Elect me and I'll continue to guide us towards space flight. By the end of my first term, our spaceship should be under construction. I'll deal with any AI civs that get out of line and we'll win this thing.

Some Bananas are more active campaigners than others.

It appears that the minimalist platform of the alternate candidate did not attract alot of support.
As a general question, what would we do if the Banana actually won an election?

we would play without, or allow the pres to appoint one. and before you ask, if the banana won the presidential race, i'll just say that it has never happened and we'll cross that bridge when/if we get to it

James Adams lost to the banana, didn't he?
Doesn't look like I'll be losing a third presidential election though.

Um, did you forget about "Banana Years"? Banana votes count as 4 because of their shorter lifespan...

I don't think it was an election, it was a straw poll James Adams started last game, with rather interesting results. (read cavebear's play-by-play)

I voted that thread as the most funny thread ever on Apolyton.
Edit:
Behind only the 'pornolizer.'
