Given how divisive the issue is, and the fact that it's a very important one for how our faction will develop in future, I don't see any problem with frequently polling it.

Hmm, shouldn't have them as often? ... *looks at current standing, realizes FM will likely win* ok, how about after this one we don't have another for a few terms

Will we already switch or stay with planned? Because I just realized I made worker placement for FM and green, but not anymore for planned.

I did all my orders for the current settings, under the impression that the results of this poll wouldn't take effect until after it was closed (ie, after the turnchat).
Not that I would mind going FM for this one

Pande didn't post any orders on the grounds that the poll isn't closed yet - and I think he was right, given that the poll is still quite close.

Yep, and you can see synth-fur vendors setting up shop on the outskirts of hell already. That's FM for you.
/me throws a party and charges everyone for drink, DJ & equipment hire... and a cover charge. But it IS a helluva party.
You could of course go to the other 5 parties down the road. All similarly priced. You're free to choose....
YAY, FM at last!

Free market. Entirely for RP reasons, although I think it's benefical to us at this time anyway.

I may have missed something, but for what reason does this poll lack a “planned” choice? It could be taken that the abstain option indicated that we wish to stick with planned, though this certainly does not appear as clear as it could be.

Voltaire: This is a run-off poll between FM and Green because there was a tie in the original econ poll that can be found here:

Looks like the victory celebrations started without me. Oh well, carry on.
About time, too.

18 voters are far more than whats usually voting here. Can someone check the voters ? GT, maybe, with his mod powers ?

Unfortunately not. I'm not allowed to meddle with polls, it seems. However, I see no reason beyond sour grapes why you would want to imply that FM won because of vote fraud, when 18 isn't an absurdly high number. After all, 21 people voted in the DSE election.

Sure, but only 12 voted for the first turn. And you know theres always more people voting for Director elections than for decisions, since the very beginning of the DG. I doubt there has been a fraud but it just seems bizarre.

Why? We have a lot members, you know, even if they don't post much. This is a divisive issue, and so of course more people will vote for their own positions.

Because they could have voted during the first turn. Maybe its because because the 2nd turn was during a week end and so more people logged in.

Possibly. Or possibly they were just more motivated to vote, knowing it had to be close if we were doing a run-off.
