The boring part is that all the issues are repeats.

In that game, I have set most of the policies so that I don't have to pay attention to them. I buy stock at 2% above market price, I have most of the items my country uses each month on contract, and all I generally do each month is buy upgrades and settle/offer loans. Yay!
In other news, Nationstates is still down. Bastards.

Moderately bored - every single one of my issues has been a repeat issue for the last couple of weeks
Hm. Makes me want to create a couple nations more and experiment a little with all the choices...

How exactly does one create a new nation under the same registration? I've never managed to find the place where I could do that

Extremely bored after two weeks, quit playing after three. I'm not that into Role Play to begin with, but the limited options for dealing with your country and fact that your country's decisions don't mean diddly in the greater context doesn't help matters any. That there only seem to be about 15 issues doesn't help either.

I'm not into roleplay, so I quickly grew bored with all the repeat issues. It did manage to last a month, though, so that's better than I would have expected.

yeah sp..
anyways. I may just run my country into the ground. But I want to see how high I can get my stats. My economy is a world powerhouse now. And I want to get my population up. My high mortality rate isn't helping obviously.

We could think of new issues and say how cool it would be if they were really in the game.
Or start many threads about how boring NationStates is.
Or start threads to mock individual people like they were doing in Civ3-Stories a while ago.
Or ***** about how there's not enough micromanagement.

We were doing that with Ras and the Negotiation thread, to keep the forum kicking, but we were just accused of spam.

Oh well, spam is what the NS forum is about, nowadays...
(and that previous post was a bit tongue-in-cheek )

Actually it's true that the idea of the negotiations would be to keep things alive. However you get damn bored with repeatative issues, server failures, a wannabe "United Nations" that doesn't work, a court that doesn't deploy you, too much large scale management and a dieing NS community.
However I have moved over to play BNT on the StP website.

Well IMHO BNT gets repetetive and boring too. Buy, sell, upgrade ship, repeat, until you get planets; then you just mess around with them, which isn't too entertaining.

Yeap, even playing around with the latest beta version of Vultur's map editor for StP is more fun. But the game... ahh... that'll be even more fun.

Someone should find another online game and everyone should switch to that.
