Does Morgan know something we don't?
For the last several turns, Morgan has been moving a colony pod through our territory. It is currently just south of New Suez. According to then unit information, acquired through our PAct, it is headed to 21,25 - a square far north that we haven't yet explored, and which is probably covered in fungus.
Anyone have any idea what's going on?

I think let it proceed. It 's not a threat and if Yang invades Morgan territory it may be a useful base for us to have around.
Strange though it is undertaking this journey.?

I'm not really worried about it, just puzzled at why it's going there. Maybe Morgan has some maps of there?

Possibly he's got more maps than we thought... or it's just the AI cheating and knowing a location it shouldn't.
He seemed pretty normal (as Morgan goes) when I left, so I don't think he's gone daft or anything like that.

I'd guess the latter - when his CP crossed the border, he spoke with us and gave us his maps, and we didn't find out anything about the northern region.

Hmmmm......it seems too far east to be in the heart of the fabled ruins some say are up there.

Although it is exactly 7 squares NE, and if he founded a base there, his territory would cover the Ruins.

Hmm, maybe the worms will eat him before he gets there? Or maybe Yang?

I wouldn't be at all suprised if the worms ate him, but I doubt Yang will try to attack him. The only thing he has that can hit us at this distance is his air force, and that can only hit Metropolis.

i dont really like the idea of morgan CPs in our territory now he doest really poses a threat but i would like to ask the DPO to look at the situation so that when the time come we wont have any trouble with this base

Could we block the CP with some of our own unit, so it doens't reach it's destination?

Why bother blocking it anyway? It's not like it's harming us. So he might take the ruins. So what? We've still got plenty of room in our territory where we could establish bases (There's nothing wrong with overlap people) and terraform. Not to mention that monoliths become rather worthless after Boreholes and Condensors.

I'm not worried that he'll grab the Ruins; for one thing, all we need is another base a bit further north, and he won't be able to claim them. I'm just wondering why the hell the CP is heading to the other end of a continent to build a base on a square Morgan shouldn't even know exists.
