I've closed Opera, rebooted my system, and cleared the cache from my preferences menu. No cigar.

/me offers a free cigar, despite the victim of the bribing attempt is a minor.
Have you configured any settings regarding site graphics or other site outlook settings in your browser?

You could try to download Opera 7.01, that has just been released. I don't know if you will get this problem solved, but you will get much more safer, because the 5 major security bugs has been repaired. I haven't checked, but I guess it's more in it to.

Have you tried simply reloading the page?
Strange, clearing the cache worked for me (I've got Opera 7.0). You could also temporarily set the Always option in the 'checking for modified versions' tab.
Straybow: hmmm, it does open in Netscape 4.7. However, as I've told you, we're not aiming to be that backward-compatible .

The site is getting better all the time. You even posted a news item about the new Stella Polaris website.

Ok, I'll download Opera 7.1. the first thing I get home... and no, I haven't messed around with the styles settings, at least to my knowledge. Oh, and I did try reloading the page, that was the first thing I did, since Opera likes to sometimes load a page directly from cache even if you access it for the first time in that browser session.

Rasbelin: if you read our Info page, you know that we made excellence our long-term plan which we seek to fullfill ...
Kassiopeia: I don't think it's 7.0 issue - I myself have 7.0 and the page ran fine after refreshing. Hmm... do you have a proxy cache maybe?

Proxy cache... I do use a proxy, so it is a possibility. Where can I empty it?

LoD,
yes, I just noticed. You seem to look for perfection.
Kassi,
you can't affect your ISP's proxy server, but I recommend that you disable it.

I disabled it. From Opera and from my Internet settings. Then I reloaded the page. Cleared my cache. Reloaded the page again. Awful lot of trouble for a single website, and it still doesn't help

I assume your connection might be behind a forced proxy server or a NAT firewall as you have a dynamic IP address which is retrieved from their DHCP server. I haven't heard from other dna Internet/Baana users about trouble, but it could of course be related to a limited configuration problem.

Kassiopeia, panag is right. The remote cache should refresh at least every couple of hours or so. If not, you have a lousy server admin . Sorry that you have to go through so many problems to view the site.
mrmitchell: don't worry, we won't mess with Poly. At the moment ...
Maniac: I'm counting on your help in that regard ....

I'll try tonight when I'm at home. Otherwise you could just download it from www.civgaming.net (They also put it on their site yesterday. ) and put it on your site that way .

Maniac: still hadn't got it, so I'll just do as you've said, as soon as I get the chance to return from uni at some humane time of day (the emphasis is on 'day' here ).
Kassiopeia: well, I don't watch anime much, but I absolutely adored Lain, it has that psychodelic atmosphere that I love .
