I'd like to play the next set of turns on Thursday
Like the title says, I'd like to play the next set of turns Thursday night. That should give the current polls plenty of time to finish and give the ministers time to prepare & send me their reports. So if you guys could shoot for getting your reports in before then, that'd be great

Excellent, your Excellency! I will try to finalize and send my report to you either Wednesday night or Thursday morning. , based on the best knowledge of the desires of the Citizens at the time.
Thank you for the guidance! Good to know when the next session is to be played.

It really depends on the preference of the minister. Some of them use email, some use PMs, others make a post with their report. I personally prefer email and PMs.

I'm learning as well, War.
I summed up the results of my science-related polls and PMed them. The polls that impinged on the authority of other ministries were omitted

I used a PM partly because I've noticed many past ministers have used them, and partly because I wanted to explain in depth a couple of my reccomendations to the president. (like why i'm having to redirect half of our freights we have en route to trading cities)

OK, OK, I know it's irrational but ...
I was brought up to believe that "Thou shalt not trade with the enemy" was only left out of the ten commandments because the Israelites hadn't discovered trade yet.

the mongols aren't worth trading with right now because they're far away, we don't have enough transports to run a regular route north and we don't have the navy to protect such a fleet. the caravans already in naples should be sent into mongolia because that's a different case. the only reason i brought the vans up to mongolia was because they were hitching a ride with some much needed military units that were being transferred.

Surely it is OK to complete a trade mission that has almost reached its destination? It would be to our benefit not to risk destruction or delay the gold and beaker bonus.

I still have no report from 123john. Which is okay, since I'm not going to play it until my homework is done. Expect it sometime this evening.

It says something about our world when the Citizens of New Apolytonia wait anxiously for their President to finish his homework.
Don't get me wrong, the real world should always take priority. But it just struck me as really humorous.
