DoT,
as I mentioned before, I am not a war-monger, but there are cases where you can't avoid war. And I think it is this time.
After we grabbed what is ours, you'll see that I am more for a peacefull tactic.

Yes and No.........
Being in the offence, gives the attacker the choice of terrain. Meaning: We take a city (or two) and defend in it.
So we know, where he will attack and can defend accordingly.....
But that would need a success in attacking the city(s).

If Innsbruck is still size one, its a waste of time taking it, and we've blown the element of surprise.

Cities don't stay size one, if they have excess food for growth. That site has that food for growth.

As the map exchange was ~20 years ago, it should now have at least size 2, might be even size 3.

If you right click on the map squares on the grassland surrounding Innsbruck, you can tell that the AI has planted farms around it... its bigger than 3... 4, perhaps 5 depending, depending on how the AI did the farming.

OK,
excused, but you shouldn't have told in public
One thing we also forgotten to mention:
with capturing the city(s) we will get some PW's........
So we could build TI's............

If you want to do that, just turn off the city names (press c, I believe).

Don't shout victory until the war is over MrBaggins...

I have every confidence in the brave Lemurian forces... especially given their historic victories ripping at the flank of the Austrian foe.
