We are deliberately acepting some food loss. We can afford that for many more turns in exchange for the science bonus.

But what should we build there next?

*glances at the 49 production and the ability to supply wine and gold*

rehome one of the military units and build 1-turn gold and wine freights ASAP!!!!

Wine is in great demand world-wide, and we get great deliveries for gold up north to Naples

And there lies the rub. CAPITOL is capable of so many things. It could build freight, military units, structure, etc.. Which is best, and that's the reason for the question...

First off, sell the Aqueduct. Get a little extra cash.

I think we can live without a cruiser from Capitol. Go with wine and gold caravans, as SCG has suggested.

After that we can build up the military.

I don't think we need any more structures in capitol.

as SCG said, rehome a military unit and build one turn gold and wine vans. After that food caravans so we don't waste a single shield while building vans to stockpile for the space race

Good plan for now. Have added rehoming Cavalry to Seville (and returning it) and changed production to Freight.

Add my voice to the pro-Freight chorus.

And don't forget to move the workers off the forest/mines and onto the trade producing squares, just prior to delivery

I presume President Ixnay knows to do that.

Actually....

now that we have superhighways, removing workers from trade spaces isn't helping science, and in fact its costing us food and gold. I humbly propose we give the extra scientists jobs overseeing new work projects

And putting those specialists to work also gives us enough shields that we don't have to rehome anything to build Freight in 1 turn.

Long term, and after Refrigeration, obviously, I'd love to see CAPITOL celebrate up to a bigger size... then those specialists can be rehired.
