10 years too late.
The sucker bar bet was less than 2 minutes.
I never lost. A lot of free dringks.
The sucker bar bet for the 4 cubes per edge was 5 minutes.
So you're on the slow slide.

How can you not know what a Rubic's Cube is? I thought it was one of the most universal "toys" ever created - created within the Soviet Bloc, nonetheless (Hungary, IIRC) during the 80's.

Yes, Hungrey.
I'm only able to get two sides.
I am able to get that one rubik's cube that changes shapes into a square, but I can't match any of the sides though.
Oh well, it's still lots of fun.

Does this mean there might be a market for all the used rubik's cubes out there?

Clicked scramble, then demo solve... Took the comp two minutes to do it... I can imagine how long it would take a person. (In fact, I never had the patience to finish the real thing back when it was in fashion...) I guess it is a good toy for children to lay with while they are riding in the back seat of the car... If they don't get motion-sick that is.

It's just a procedural thing, so it won't take most people a lot of time to solve it. I saw a kid on local TV who did it in less than a minute.

Once you understand the basic principles... the three by three is not to tough to do it in under 2 minutes. The 4 by 4 was a different matter

I just solved the Flash cube in about 10 seconds... by memorizing the scrambling motions and backtracking them (and it wasn't very hard, since it only made two actual changes - after turning the third layer once, it just turned the bottom layer around several times)
