Ok, I went for strategical voting. I would have preferred Subruna, but I chose for the less evil between Solaris and Xenobanana!.

My reasonings from the previous thread stand.
1. Solaris is cool; it has a science fiction reference (book by Stanislaw Lem) and a reference to a very good PlayStation video game (Xenogears).
2. Sorry, Sierra Novans, but it seems that if you want to block the vile Xenobanana!, you have to vote Solaris; Solaris did get more votes than SN in the last election...
3. Xenobanana!, despite that little village I have no quarrel with in Cornwall, UK, is a nightmare grammar-wise. Yes, I know This Base Is Belong To Us isn't too correct either, but at least it does not tamper with punctuation.
4. As Maniac stated, a region called Xenobanana! might get mixed up with base(s) with a similar name. A name is supposed to be as unique as possible, otherwise the basic purpose of naming something is rendered void.
5. For all you anti-Archaic people, Archaic voted Xenobanana! in the earlier thread, he said so himself. Sorry Archaic, but all means must be used in war, love, and region name polls.
6. There's no need for #6, you should be convinced already.

I think "Xenobanana ! (abstain)" is the best name for a region I have ever heard...
No, I'm just winding up Kass. Solaris, this time around. I found reason 5 very convincing *winks at Archaic*

Ah well, Solaris won (severely)...
Don't blame me when some psycho in a red mecha comes by and blows away the north end of the continent because of the new region name

Indeed, the sucker's more mobile than it looks, it made it all the way to Cyclops before we managed to catch it!

Not sure, I just got reports of this red lumpy thing hopping across the water surface. Had to take a pretty fast skim-boat out to round the thing up
And I won't mention what it did to the containment cell... and adjoining facility... what am I going to tell the insurance company?

damn, it seems even moving the CIAC to a sea base has failed in containing escapees.
/me notes to self: stop breeding GMTLFITRCBR's.
/me notes to self: send several GMTLFITRCBRB(read)W(ith)M(eatloaf)'s to UN Aquaxenobanana to be deployed in labourer's throng.

On further examination it appears that the specimen lacks the natural ability to hop on water, but rather had a substance applied to its exterior that allowed it to do so. Upon our removal of this substance, the specimen broke into our chem lab, synthesized a more adhesive form of the same substance, coated itself in it, and escaped. I presume it's returning home
...
What the ****? Who took those top secret data tapes!?
