"The Lost Paradise" released
I am happy to say that "The Lost Paradise", after more than a year of planning and more than half a year of designing, is finished!
"The Lost Paradise" is about the cultures that emerged in the southern Pacific area before European colonization. The cultures involved are the Polynesians, the Micronesians, Melanesians, Papua and Maori.
You can get it here:
http://www.alexanderthegreat.de/civ2/lostpar.html
A PBEM for this scenario will be started soon.
I would like to use this occasion and thank my two brave, patient and overall wonderful playtesters, yaroslav and Cyrion. Without their help, I would propably never have finished this scenario. If you enjoy this scenario, at least a bit, that goes to their merit just as it does to the designer's (mine).

An excellent city set, great ship graphics, good resource graphics. Mmm.
The map looks great, except for the oddness of the atolls. Maybe you could try changing the graphics of the four-way river tile and the river mouths and then filling all of the atolls with rivers in order to get rid of the rhombus-factor.

Shaka, the scen is also playable as SP. In fact, all our beta-tester work has been done in SP. If you want a challenging game, try Micronesian as 'solo' game

Excellent playability, refreshing graphics, heaps of work on improvements and wonders, nothing more to say...
And yes, it is playable in SP! Actually, it makes for a nice, not too long game!
A PBEM would be able to reveal all its potential!
Once again, congratulations Stefan!
