1503 - Is It Any Good?
I just got done playing the U.S. demo, and to be honest I couldn't see one feature that was the least bit different from 1602, in fact, I'm fairly sure it was the same identical demo script.
I have heard that 1503 is significantly changed from 1602, but I had to look at the game title as I was exiting just to make sure I hadn't accidenatally downloaded the wrong demo.
Is it really different? Better? Or is that just more advertizing hype?

Hard to tell since the game isn't out yet. Haven't tried the demo myself, but the reviews I've read have been largely positive.
From what I understand, it'll be the mostly the same game, but it has been enhanced or improved in almost every area.
Not sure if I want to invest in another game right now, but this looks almost worth it.

Actually, the game has been out in Europe since October according to what I've read. I am hoping that someone who has the game can make some comments about differences between 1503 and 1602.

Hmmm, I guess it can't be too good. Seems like nobody is playing it.

I hope it's better... I like the idea, but 1602 was poorly done

Poorly done? Hm, maybe it is, but it was my very first PC game. I got hooked to the demo and just had to get the game itself, and I played it till the morning hours.

i just bought 1602 recently ( I too have an old PC, but theres enough gameplay in the bargain bins for me, at least for now) I like the general approach of the game, but I do find the interface somewhat frustrating - not intuitive where to get info - this is especially a problem for an RTS (even at a slow pace) - this looks like a good game, but i think the learning curve may be a tad excessive. I wonder if 1503 has fixed any of this.

since my last post ive played a few more hours of 1602 AD, and so far its growing on me. Ive found the interface at least manageable, and im finding the game challenging.
