Those who know of Bruce Campbell know all that. The Spiderman thing was something a non-Bruce fan would know.

"If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor" is available in the large form-factor (I believe the term is mass-market) paperback, but no word on a "regular" paperback version.
The book really helps confirm him as one of the greatest and most entertaining actors there is...

Evil Dead 1 wasn't that bad It had some good campy moments. There's something to be said for the scene where someone gets stabed in the foot with a pencil. humm.. I think I'm digging a hole.

What do you mean?!
It's not just "bad", it's so bad that it's gruesome yet somehow funny at the same time.
There are some truly obnoxious scenes (the tree-rapes-girl scene anyone?) that are particularly and obnoxiously stupid additions to the movie that cause the audience to move well beyond the point of taking the movie seriously and progressing to the state of utter disbelief in the gruesomely poor taste or quality of a movie - a transcendant state for any movie.
It doesn't quite match up to the humorous value of FAR worse movies like Mission to Mars or even a mildly bad movie like Armaggedon, but it has its moments.
and of course, Evil Dead 2 wouldn't have been as hillarious as it was if it didn't have the original Evil Dead to spoof

Not only have I read it, my wife and I have an autographed copy of the book, and met Mr. Campbell at the local Borders (we have a picture with him and the baby.)
Of course, I haven't seen a single one of his movies, and only know him from a TV show 6 years dead, but that's OK.

My sister got to meet him and got me an autographed copy of If Chins Could Kill. He was giving a lecture at her university but she couldn't get tickets to see him. Damn, I should have gone to college!

Brisco County Jr. was my dad's favorite show when it was on.
