yeah, disband Pressburg, attack graze w/ the GRAND army (is there one?), and send a scouting party of two to seige that new city

looks to me like the Austrian are expanding, we must srike hard!

Incorrect. We have 5 units in Pressburg. Only 4 are used for the purposes of martial law. One Hoplite could easily be sent... a gamble, but then a worthwhile gamble: Delay till writing is complete and then pop the hut.

WAY too soon. Graz is one of the three targets I'd say attack with 12 to be sure. 9 is risky. 12 won't take us that much longer and we can actually attack Wels in the meantime.

If we disband Pressburg then we lose 33/50 production a turn + between 9 and 12 science a turn.

Not a good ROI:

We get for destroying their city: NOTHING (they get -1 city)
It costs us 360 Production and 90 science.

Compare destroying the city (waiting)

We get for destroying their city: 740 shields + the option to settle a city somewhere (they get -1 city)

It cost us nothing, plus casualties in shields.

afaik units will heal normally, meaning at a very slow rate everywhere, during 2 turns unmoved in a a city. of course forts a fine thing, but only if you have a defined border, which they can ensure, best on top of a mountain or hill. our borders are moving, we don't have any pw, and not to forget, we haven't the scientific prerequisite for forts yet, this comes clearly pretty to a: Not Yet!

i thought they healed normally, meaning very slowly, in cities too

Destroy??? Who is talking about destroy? I am talking about moving. Send the city to a spot that wont harm H Town growth. As i stated in the other thread we wont loose much on this moving

i dont have any opinion on what to do with our cities but we must remember that if we start taking cities that will extend our boarders the other nations might get a little mad. They dont want to share there continant with us regardless of how much they like us.
