So as the clock ticked past midnight, and my 25th birthday began, there I was, sitting in pre-op, waiting for some poor schmuck with an enourmous rectal abscess to be brought up from the ER.
Now, I'm not a superstitious man, but this does not seem like a good omen.
Ahhh, the surgery rotation. There is nothing quite like it.
Actually, strike that. "A living hell" is rather quite like it, only the surgery rotation is nowhere near as exciting.
Thanks for the well-wishes, everyone.

This is not fair. I posted a thread before, congratulating Rasbelin for his *first* anniversary...

You should have written it in this way:
(wo)men
Happy birthday!

Therein lies the problem. In English, "anniversary" usually refers to someone's wedding anniversary. You should have said "birthday," like a normal English-speaker.

Hm, but I thought that "first birthday" would look strange... I did not like this form. So I made an option for the wrong one.

I thought that was standard procedure when someone pointed out grammatical errors.
Very well Boris, you are the gramm a r nazi.
