India very bullish GNP lol
What is the deal with India always having a crazy GNP and Annual Income per capita. Is there a fix for that? I know it is not in the microprose official patch....

The demographics for the purple civ are - as you note - more than a little apocryphal - no there is no patch - just live with it...

That demographics error can actually let you figure out the Indian population... so despite how silly it looks, I wouldn't necessarily want to fix it.

The easiest fix is to play as purple

IIRC this was fixed in the MAC version.Don't know why a fix never made it to PC version.Not a big deal really but annoying.Sloppy even.

It's not that out of whack.

Build a real empire and you'll take over 1st in all categories.

If it really bothers you, you can destroy purple.
