Simultaneous moves
Anyone using simul moves when playing a mp game? I tend to use it when I play with 2-3 others, (not as a pbem of course) since it shortens the periods you have to wait while the others move.
What do you guys think? Pro's/con's with simul?

I find sim moves handy when going through the first turns of a particular game only, when there is no actual contact between the players. However, this can prove awkward in a wartime situation, as the game in effect becomes an RTS. Which isn't my cup of tea, to say the least - if two rovers are next to each other, the person who can click it first wins the battle. Not my idea of a good strategy game.

Hmm, yeah, good point actually. Heh, haven't actualy had much problems with that yet though. Both me and the people I use to play with usually play just builder style, so we're not attacking each other that often. And the AI have a tendency to move before we humans get to when we play with simul. So hadn't thought much about it when trying to get me some of their bases either.
Oh well, maybe it's time to play it w/o simul the next time.
