A Question About Action Stations

This looks like a good naval warfare game I dl'ed from Underdogs, but it has a security check asking for a word from the manual - e.g. the first word from a paragraph on a certain page of the manual. Unfortunately, the manual I copied from underdogs doesn't have page numbers. How do I get around this problem?
